This is the 2008 Christmas letter set to video.
After wrapping up the VHS to DVD conversion project, it was time to try out a current Christmas letter, to see how that would look and if the idea would even work. Now there were plenty of pictures to choose from and they were all digital, so that was the easy part. The blending of current music and learning the zooms and swipes made this a little more interesting. But the instability of the software and the aging Pentium D computer "givin' 'er all she's got", plus the more frequent Baikonur trips, stretched this production out to September.
The big events of the year called for both a big sound and something more pensive. Video editing software is Pinnacle Studio 11.
