This is the 2019 Christmas letter set to video.
The empty nest syndrome really kicked in this year - hard to imagine how we got anything done while the kids were still here! The first sequence is a fast-forward sampling of the things that kept us running.
Travel was also big this year - with Pete visiting NOAA antenna sites at some "exotic" locations in the US, and with Eileen on a couple of long-awaited return trips. The helicopter trip is a combination of videos and moving stills taken from the same Canon PowerShot SX-50.
The Irish vignette features a couple of pub musicians captured on video by Eileen on Pete's LG V30 phone, plus the unfortunate demise of Eileen's cell phone from a very high rope bridge. The last sequence introduces the newest nephew to the extended Kurucz family, 3-year-old Aidan Webster!
Video editing done with Cyberlink Power Director 14.
